Frequently Asked Questions

“Do you deliver?”

I do if you are local, but otherwise no.

“How much is postage?”

Postage is $7.50.

“How long before I receive my order?”

If you want to pick up then let me know when and I can leave your order in my mailbox for you to collect.

Via NZ Post usually a couple of days unless your address is rural then add a day or two depending on where you are.

Deliveries to:

South Island: 1-2 business days, North Island: 2-3 business days. Rural delivery: Add 2-3 extra days to the above.

“Do you ship internationally?”

Yes we do. To ensure that the postage is correct we will pack and weigh your order and then notify you of the cost. If you feel it is too expensive then you may cancel your order. It is worth remembering that soap is heavy most bars weighing in excess of 100g.

“Do you give refunds if I return an order?”

If there is a problem with your order you have 14 days to notify us. Your item must be unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging to be eligible for a return. If the item/s have been damaged in transit you will need to notify me immediately.

We do not refund or exchange if you have simply changed your mind.

“Do you have a shop?”

No, but you can find me at the Brighton Market on a Saturday from 10.00am-2.00pm or you can shop online.

“Are Your Products Natural?”

They are. We source natural oils and butters for all our products. You will find that some named ingredients may sound a bit odd or less than natural for example BTMS50 is a vegetable product derived from from Rapeseed and sustainable Palm Oils. BTMS-50 can be used to emulsify lotions and scrubs but is most commonly used to make hair conditioners.
